In the era of the Internet, people gained access to all sorts of information. Even though you shouldn’t believe everything you see online, there are still some accurate and mind-blowing facts that you probably never knew before. The list of facts is endless, so why only 42? Because according to The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, 42 is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything. Without further ado, let’s dive right in!

  1. A day on Venus takes longer to complete than a year on Venus. How? It simply takes longer for Venus to do one complete rotation around its own axis, than it does for the planet to rotate around the sun.

  3. Otters have skin pockets for their favorite rocks .
