5 things you can do at home during Coronavirus

By now, a huge portion of the human race is sitting home not knowing what to do because of Coronavirus. It’s true that some people are still working remotely from their homes, however, the rest are not. If you’re having plenty of time at home and you’re not the next Newton (Newton discovered many laws of physics and created calculus when he was hiding at home from a pandemic at his time), don’t worry. We’ll suggest 5 simple things that you can do so that you don’t get bored and make good use of your time.

1 – Text 5 random strangers everyday

We’re challenging you to text 5 random strangers you meet on the internet. There are many reasons why you should do this other than passing time. One is that you’ll get to meet other people and maybe become friends. Two is that you’ll not feel alone anymore. We are all in this together. Sharing your concerns and your thoughts with others might help you feel stronger during these hard times.

2 – Read books

If you have any books on your shelves that you always wanted to read but never had the time to do so. Well, now is the time. Books have always been one of the greatest sources of knowledge and entertainment. Making use of books in these times and in any other times is a great benefit for you. If you’re looking for some book recommendations, you can check “The power of Habit“, “Rich Dad, Poor Dad“, “How to Win Friends and Influence People” and “The Power of Now“.

3 – Try video games

If you’re not already a gamer, then you should consider trying some video games. Video games have been one of the greatest sources of entertainment in our century. The community of gamers is growing huge day after day. If you’re having plenty of time, then it won’t hurt if you try some video games like The Witcher 3, Minecraft, Subnautica and others.

4 – Online Courses

If you have ever felt interested in knowing more about anything, from knowing how to make video games, to learning how to draw, to learning even more about your field of study, then you can consider taking an online course. There are plenty of great online platforms like Khan Academy, Coursera and Udemy that offer a lot of great courses. Check them out.

5 – Read online articles

Back to reading. There are tons of articles online about all different sorts of things. Online articles are usually short. This means that you can know more about so many things by reading tiny articles about different topics. You are only one google search away from tons of great articles on the internet. You just have to be careful about what you read online and you’ll be amazed at how much you can learn.
