We write articles everyday, should you?

We are a team of 2 members, and we have been writing an article each day on this blog and will continue to do so for a long time. 70 days, 70 articles. Should you write articles everyday too? Yes you should and here’s why:

1 – You will learn new things almost every day

There is a limited amount of topics that you usually know about. If you are writing one article each day, one day you will run out of  topics that you already know about.

This will force you to explore new topics each day, meet new people, learn about cultures, and so much more. The greatest part is communicating with new people like when we had to write an article about art and an article about an experience during the quarantine

The more you write, the more you learn; and the more you learn, the better you become. With each new topic that we write, we do hours of research where we read deeply about the topics that we plan to write about. You should do that too.

2 – You’ll improve your writing skills dramatically

They say ‘Practice makes perfect’. If you want to perfect doing something, what’s better than practicing it each day? Want to increase your writing skills? Write articles every day.

When we first started, it took us a long time to find the right topic, the right words, the right structuring and it seemed overwhelming to have to do it everyday. However, as we wrote articles each day, things became much easier.

Now on Day 70, it takes us less than half the time it used to take us on Day 1 to finish an article with a much better quality.

Why should you be interested in improving your writing skills in the first place? The answer is simple. Writing is one of the forms of expression.

With the rise of the internet, writing has dominated all other forms of expression as everyone today is typing things on their social accounts to communicate with other people instead of face to face communications.

This makes improving your writing skills extremely important as it will define the way you are viewed on the internet.

3 – You learn to discipline yourself

If you train yourself to do the same thing every day for the next few years no matter what happens, then you’ll definitely become more disciplined than ever.

Great things usually take time and a lot of hard work to be reached. The more disciplined you are and the more commitment you put, the better chances you’ll have at achieving what you’re aiming for.

Doing something each day, in this case writing each day, will help you train yourself to remain committed to things you plan to achieve in your life.

Final words

It has been a great experience writing articles every day, and if by any chance you choose to do the same thing, make sure you stick till the end of your plan because it will be worth it.
